Project Overview

The Boston based architecture firm SGA brought the 99 High Street Bench to us as a concept, but there were still a lot of design decisions that needed to be made. I led the project on ERDL’s end, which included technical design work, project management, fabrication and installation of the 38’ long serpentine bench. In addition to creating more fleshed out CAD models and detailed shop drawings, I coordinated with CNC operators, our in-house woodworking team and a third-party stone fabricator in Minnesota. The most ambitious individual piece in ERDL’s portfolio up to that point, this was trial by fire, and it paid off.
